About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate to join the Derivative Collateral Management department.
In this role, you will:
Compare trade position files from external counter-parties to resolve timely margin call disputesPerform trade decompositions to validate current mark-to-market exposuresReview and present collateral margin calls and respond to the demands submitted by our counterpartiesWork with internal departments (various Middle Offices, Documentation, Marketers, Legal, Credit) to resolve all discrepanciesProduce and distribute ad-hoc reporting requirements to clients and internal partnersCross-train future staff members to assist and independently perform daily Derivative Collateral Management margin responsibilitiesConsistently seek opportunities to improve processes, controls and procedures within the Collateral Management teamPartner with the project team to develop requirements for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance testingRequired Qualifications:
6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications
Derivative Collateral Management margin experienceExperience working with loan, securities, or derivative productsFirm understanding of derivative trading (Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Floors, Caps, Commodities Cross-currency, FX, Equity, etc.) mechanics and payment reset schedulesKnowledge of and possess ability to interpret executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documentsFINRA Series 7 licensedCollege degree with concentration in finance and businessIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, Tableau, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExtensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative productsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyJob Expectations:
