Capacity Planner

This role focuses on supporting the cloud capacity planning team by overseeing assigned regions to ensure their capacity needs are fulfilled while maintaining optimal performance efficiency and reliability. The position offers an opportunity to work cross-functionally in a high-impact cloud capacity planning environment, with potential exposure to multiple teams and organizations.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor assigned regions to fulfill capacity needs and ensure overall health.Drive true-up alignment for Excess DC capacity views and perform daily checks on power feed and changes.Collaborate closely with EG planners to execute EG priorities effectively and coordinate with support teams and external stakeholders.Make informed decisions based on guidelines and data, and justify decisions to stakeholders as needed.Prepare and distribute daily/weekly reports for stakeholders and document troubleshooting steps and problem resolution processes.Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and address underlying issues.

Essential Skills

5-7 years of proven experience in project management, capacity planning, or similar roles.Experience in supply chain management is highly desirable.Proven experience in data analytics with the ability to interpret complex data.Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in cloud infrastructure or data center environments.Advanced proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate.Strong sense of ownership with a demonstrated ability to drive gap and issue resolution to closure independently.

Work Environment

The position is mostly remote, with the requirement to work onsite one day per week at the Redmond, WA campus. The daily schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with no overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
