Pay Range

$25.30 - $37.95

The Cancer Program Development Specialist leads community-based cancer education and prevention efforts across the region. In this role, the specialist develops and delivers culturally sensitive programs that raise awareness, reduce cancer risk, and help detect disease early—especially within medically underserved communities. They build and maintain partnerships with community groups, coordinate outreach events, provide resource and patient navigation support, and guide individuals to appropriate cancer screenings and services. The specialist also tracks program data, answers public inquiries, supports educational materials development, and represents the cancer center in community and professional settings. Frequent travel across all counties served is required.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Public Health required, Public Relations, Social Work or Nursing . Masters preferred.Valid state vehicle operator's license.

Patient Population Served

Demonstrates knowledge of the social determinants of health and a commitment to providing resources for medically underserved populations. Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to care for the varying ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served. Oncology experience and bilingual skills preferred.
