Our client, a leader in power management solutions, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Brake Press Operator
**Location:** Edmonton, AB
**Pay Range:** $24.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate large bending brakes safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
+ Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical teams to optimize workflow and production processes.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with ISO9001:2015/EQS quality procedures.
+ Identify and report workplace hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending better operational practices.
**What's Needed?**
+ Completion of High School or GED equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with brake press or machine operations.
+ Ability to read blueprints and bending drawings.
+ Knowledge of machine tooling and operational parameters.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
