**Job Title:** Equipment Operator I **Location:** Airdrie, AB Our client is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join their team. As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a strong team spirit, and basic computer skills which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Description:** + Mark orders as started or completed on DMM. + Set up and operate the spot weld machine, spot weld various parts, and deliver them to the appropriate station. + Conduct periodic destructive tests on the weld. + Set up and operate a variety of machines for fabricating specific parts, e.g., C6 and SG. + Ensure the long-term integrity of equipment while adhering to safety and environmental standards. **Qualifications:** + Grade 12 or equivalent level of education. + Basic computer skills. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively as a team player. + Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge/experience reading basic wiring schematic symbols and those with experience using Amada punch press, Shear, and JFY. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing equipment. + Be part of a team that values safety and environmental standards. + Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with no overtime required. + Join a company that encourages personal and professional growth.
