The Evening Campus Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly campus environment during evening hours. This position monitors school grounds, buildings, and parking areas; supervises entrances; assists visitors; and responds appropriately to safety concerns or emergencies. The Supervisor works closely with administrators and facilities staff to support smooth campus operations while modeling Christ-centered professionalism and sound judgment in all interactions with students, staff, parents, and visitors.

A high school diploma is required (further education preferred). A valid California Class C Driver’s License is required for operation of campus vehicles. A current First Aid and CPR certification must be held or obtained within the first three months of employment. Prior security or campus supervision experience is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, exercise good judgment, and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Applicants must submit a completed employment application and resume, along with proof of high school diploma (or equivalent) and a copy of a valid California Driver’s License. Upon hire, employees must provide documentation verifying authorization to work in the United States (I-9), complete background check authorization and Live Scan fingerprinting (as required), and provide proof of First Aid/CPR certification (or complete certification within three months). Additional documentation such as TB clearance and a signed faith statement may be required in accordance with school policy and state regulations.

Comments and Other Information The Evening Campus Supervisor monitors hallways, non-classroom areas, parking lots, and campus entrances; provides assistance and direction to visitors; identifies unauthorized individuals; supports administrators in maintaining a clean and orderly campus; assists with crowd control and emergency situations; collaborates with maintenance and custodial teams; and performs related duties as assigned. The role requires independent judgment, effective communication, and the ability to promote and model appropriate behavior at all times. This is a full time, 40 hour a week position. Schedule will be M-F 2:30pm to 11:00pm. This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities. Village Christian School is an equal opportunity employer.
