**Immediate Need for Metrology and Calibration Specialists in Brownsville, Texas (Relocation Package Available)** **Responsibilities** + Perform routine and complex tasks related to the calibration, compensation, repair, and maintenance of electronic, physical–dimensional, mechanical, thermodynamic, and chemical inspection equipment. + Use measurement reference standards and calibration systems to verify conformance of equipment with associated performance criteria. + Assure compliance with Quality Management System, AS9100D, and ISO9001 requirements. + Assist Metrology Engineering in assessing, modifying, and implementing metrology processes and applications. + Support equipment end users and owners regarding use and measurement best practices. + Serve as a subject matter expert for supported measurement parameters. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of professional experience in metrology, calibration, and mechanical tasks. + Experience with high accuracy, high precision measurement equipment. + Training in military, defense, aerospace, energy, or medical settings. + Experience in AC/DC low frequency equipment calibration, compensation, and repair. + Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) and/or Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) experience. + Familiarity with ISO/IEC, AS9100D, and ISO9001. + Familiarity with Calibration Management and Metrology Information Systems (MIS), specifically IndySoft. + American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Calibration Technician (CCT). + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). **Pay Rate** $35/h - $45/h Based on Experience (Weekly Pay) Per Diem Eligible (Must Qualify) Relocation Package Available (Must Qualify) **Work Environment** Climate-controlled indoor environment with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
