Calibration Technician
Job Title: Calibration TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a diligent Calibration Technician who will be responsible for calibrating inspection, measurement, and test equipment across multiple disciplines including acoustical, dimensional, RF/microwave, mechanical, optical, and more. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with specifications, maintains calibration standards, and performs basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on precision instruments.

ResponsibilitiesCalibrate various types of equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.Maintain calibration standards and equipment.Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on precision instruments.Collect and record data during calibration processes.Identify and adjust or repair equipment that is out of tolerance.Detect and correct measurement errors when necessary.Prepare detailed calibration reports and certificates.Essential Skills1+ years of experience as a Calibration Technician.Proficiency in calibration, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.Basic ability to troubleshoot, repair, align, and optimize precision equipment (mics, cals, gauges, optical comparators).Ability to perform general math and algebra functions.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of RF, radio frequency, battery testing, and RF circuits.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience calibrating RF (Radio Frequency) Test equipment is preferred.Work Environment

The role is based in Laboratory/Testing and Industrial Manufacturing environments. The position follows a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday. There is a requirement for 20% local travel to customer sites once converted to a direct-hire. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 45 pounds without assistance. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springboro, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
