Our client, a leading global R&D organization, is seeking a CAE/Structural Analyst – Mechanical & Mechatronics Systems to join their team. As a CAE/Structural Analyst, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting cross-functional design, test, and mechatronics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CAE/Structural Analyst – Mechanical & Mechatronics Systems (1-Year Contract)
**Location:** Tarrytown, NY
**Pay Range:** $46.49/hr – $64.08/hr
**What’s the Job?**
+ Perform structural analysis simulations to guide the design of future instrument platforms and improve existing designs.
+ Apply CAE best practices to ensure robust, optimized structural designs.
+ Develop CAD models and prototypes to support test platform development and concept validation.
+ Collaborate with mechatronics specialists, design, and test engineers to integrate structural solutions.
+ Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of CAE methodologies.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
+ Experience in CAE-based structural analysis.
+ Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD and Simcenter 3D Structures.
+ Knowledge of materials science, structural failure mechanisms, and commonly used engineering plastics.
+ Familiarity with design optimization methods, multibody dynamics modeling, and multiphysics simulations is desirable.
