Job Title: CAD Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional mechanical CAD engineer who combines outstanding technical and analytical skills with a proven ability to efficiently achieve goals. This role involves creating detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse design material handling equipment, conveyors, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions. These drawings will be based on existing templates and will also involve design support for future templates. A high level of detail is required in 3D Revit-based layouts, as well as in 2D AutoCAD plan views and corresponding elevation views. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently with various stakeholders while delivering high-standard results.

Responsibilities

Create detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse design material handling equipment, conveyors, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions.Develop 3D Revit-based layouts and 2D AutoCAD plan views with corresponding elevation views.Work independently with numerous stakeholders to deliver high-quality drawings.Support design for future templates while adhering to current standards.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field.3 years of professional experience working with AutoCAD and Revit.Strong communication and writing skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction.Capability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and operate with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced design environment utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit, including layout and sheet creation.Knowledge of material handling equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, storage systems, and warehouse design.Familiarity with online file document management systems such as BIM360 and ACC.Parametric modeling with experience in creating detailed families/parts/dynamic blocks that utilize code or functions to drive modularity.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site in Bellevue. The role offers the opportunity to work within a growing organization with potential for transitioning into a full-time position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.50/hr.
