Overview ***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP*** The CAD Operator is responsible for developing drawings for Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Sanitary Engineering disciplines in Autocad format and other drafting software, ensuring proper functionality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards under the V2X LOGCAP V program. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Prepares drawings for the various Engineering disciplines + Assist the Designers and Engineers review sub-contractors’ plans and drawings. + Assist in billing and accomplishment validation. + Assist the Engineers monitor progress and report design and construction issues to management. + Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration. Qualifications + Minimum Qualifications: + College Graduate + Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Licensed is an advantage + Required TESDA Technical Drafting NC II Certificate + Cumulative Trainings / Seminars in CAD from certified/accredited training centers, 80 hours + Philippines Driver’s License Required + Must be a Filipino Citizen + Experience: + Minimum 5 years’ experience in MEPFS drafting + Minimum 5 years’ experience in using Google Suite / MS Office / Drafting Software + Minimum 1 year experience in Construction Supervisor & Management + Minimum 1 year experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control + Minimum 1 year experience in Environment, Health & Safety + Skills: + Proficiency in CAD software, with a focus on 2D and 3D design + Interpretation and review of engineering drawings and technical documents. + Familiarity with drafting codes and standards. + Construction coordination and contractor management related to MEPFS plans and drawings. + Technical report preparation and presentation. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Quality assurance and contractor performance evaluation related to plans and drawings + Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload + Ability to provide great customer service under stressful conditions + Working Conditions: + The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. + The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. + The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. + Physical Requirements: + Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.; Work will require walking up and down stairs, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
