Job Title: CAD DrafterJob Description

A renowned A/E consulting firm is seeking a qualified CAD Drafter with experience in AutoCAD – MEP software to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).Conduct field validation of the drawings alongside the Design Engineer.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience within an A/E firm.Proficiency in AutoCAD.At least 1 year of working experience with Revit.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with MicroStation, plumbing, and fire protection.Knowledge of wastewater design and wastewater engineering.Work Environment

The office is located in Warren, consisting of 21 people. The standard working hours are 8am-4:30pm with a flexible schedule, and Fridays are work-from-home. The dress code is business casual. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
