Job Title: CAD Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CAD Drafter with experience in Revit to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

Develop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).Perform field validation of the drawings along with the Design Engineer.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience within an AE firm.2+ years of working experience with Revit (not school experience).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.Experience with MicroStation, wastewater design, and wastewater engineering.Knowledge in electrical design, mechanical design, and MEP.

Work Environment

The office consists of 21 people located in Warren, operating from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The dress code is business casual. The company culture is like a family, featuring bi-monthly lunches with all employees, potlucks, a 4th of July BBQ, and a Christmas party.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
