CAD & CAM Technician
The CAD & CAM Technician bridges digital design and hands-on craftsmanship, supporting the creation of high-quality furniture products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software and CNC programming. They assist in translating design intent into production-ready files and physical outputs, playing a key role in product development, prototyping, and efficient production execution. Responsibilities + Translate design intent into production-ready CAD files and physical outputs. + Play a key role in product development and prototyping. + Ensure efficient production execution. + Collaborate with a team passionate about craftsmanship and sustainability. + Contribute to document control and drafting processes. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably with Fusion 360. + CAM knowledge. + Knowledge of 3D printing and laser cutting. + Familiarity with document control and drafting processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with wood fabrication is preferred. + Understanding and experience with CNC programming preferred, can be taught during training + Experience with CNC routers, G code, and CNC machines. + Experience with WinCNC and Shop Sabre CNCs. + Additive and subtractive manufacturing experience. Work Environment The role is based in a new factory being built in Kelso, with new offices and more CNCs to be installed over the next year. The CAD Technician will have the opportunity to create the office and team culture. The team is focused on craftsmanship and sustainability, working with high-quality materials and innovative designs. Career advancement opportunities, including paths to leadership roles, are available. After one year, employees may be eligible for profit-sharing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Longview, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00/hr.
