Position Details:

A custom millwork and cabinetry company is looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker with strong hands-on skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation. The ideal candidate can work independently, read drawings, and build high-quality products with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble cabinets, millwork components, and fixtures according to drawingsPerform laminating, filing, trimming, and finishing tasksInstall cabinet hardware including hinges, handles, slides, and specialty componentsInterpret shop drawings and measurements accuratelyOperate woodworking tools and machinery safely (saws, routers, drills, sanders)Ensure products meet quality and workmanship standardsMaintain a clean work area and follow all safety proceduresAssist with general shop tasks as needed

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of Cabinetmaking experienceStrong skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installationAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and measurementsExperience operating woodworking hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipAbility to lift materials and work in a fast-paced production environment
