Job Title: Woodworker

Job Description

This position requires a skilled woodworker with expertise in carpentry, particularly in exhibit, trade show, retail display, and commercial millwork. The candidate should demonstrate proficient carpentry techniques using saws, routers, pneumatic nail and staple guns, gluing, and lamination, as well as various power and hand-held tools. The role involves working with plans and fabrication drawings with a range of materials, including plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic, on multiple types of equipment. Efficiency in meeting project standards and deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret work orders from the supervisor.Work with materials such as wood, plastic, metal, plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic.Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, routers, and sanders.Perform laminating tasks.Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Construction or experience in using hand and power tools.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Excellent attention to detail and quality control.Knowledge and experience with pneumatic nailers and electric power tools.Flexibility to work alone or as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to assist other departments when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
