**Job Description**
The Cabana Concierge is responsible for coordinating the setup, maintenance, and smooth operation of cabanas or private guest areas at a hospitality or recreational facility at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This role ensures that cabanas are fully prepared, well-maintained, and equipped to provide a high-quality guest experience. The Cabana Concierge collaborates with other staff and departments to fulfill guest requests, support events, and address any concerns. Additionally, the role provides support to supervisors or managers, assisting with coordination, communication, and operational tasks to ensure seamless cabana services and overall guest satisfaction.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**1. Guest Support & Operations**
+ Greet and escort guests to their assigned cabanas or private areas promptly.
+ Supervise cabana team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
+ Ensure cabanas are properly prepared, maintained, and equipped with all required amenities.
+ Check on guests periodically to ensure comfort, satisfaction, and access to services.
+ Arrange guest transportation, such as trams or other facility-specific services, as needed.
**2. Compliance & Quality Control**
+ Uphold environmental, health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
+ Maintain high-quality service standards throughout cabana operations.
+ Monitor adherence to operational and hospitality standards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
**3. Reporting & Maintenance**
+ Report damages, malfunctioning equipment, or other operational issues to supervisors or managers promptly.
+ Document incidents or operational challenges to ensure timely resolution.
+ Assist with minor maintenance tasks or coordination with maintenance teams as necessary.
**4. Administrative & Additional Support**
+ Liaise with supervisors or guest experience managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
+ Assist management with special projects, events, or operational coordination.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support cabana operations and overall guest satisfaction
**SKILLS SPECIFICS:**
+ Supervisory or leadership experience is desirable.
+ Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
+ Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to hospitality or food service.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; familiarity with reservation or guest management software is a plus.
**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required; additional education in Hospitality or a related field is a plus
+ Must be certified in First AID and CPR
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, guest services, or recreational facility operations; cabana, poolside, or beach club experience preferred.
**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Fluency in conversational English; additional language skills are a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Must be physically fit.
+ Physically fit, able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods; lift up to 15–25 pounds.
+ Ability to work in an outdoor environment as needed.
+ May need to stand for long periods of time.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.
+ Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
