The role's primary goal is to align operations with client needs and objectives, ensuring detailed event execution and high client happiness for our C-Suite Clients. This role will lead sophisticated events, engaging with high-profile clients, and ensuring service excellence across 250 events annually. This role combines leadership, operational management, client relationship building, and detailed event execution to create outstanding experiences. **What You’ll Do** Lead Event Planning & Execution: Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of event management, including C-Suite, Tier 1, and offsite events. Develop and communicate comprehensive event plans, incorporating curation and ideation. Vendor & Logistics Management: Source and handle vendors for catering, décor, entertainment, and giveaways. Oversee event logistics such as setup, staff coordination, attendee and speaker needs, and post-event teardown. Budget & Service Oversight: Support budget development and ensure timely invoice processing. Lead food and beverage services, including menu planning and catering coordination. Client Engagement & Communication: Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, brand-compliant materials, and post-event reporting with actionable insights. Operational Management: Collaborate with onsite partners and event staff to assign tasks, recommend schedules, and drive service consistency through ongoing process improvement. Administrative Oversight: Manage budgets, billing, and invoicing; maintain business continuity plans; and use digital tools and SharePoint for reporting and operational support. **What You’ll Need** Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality. Advanced math skills. The minimum salary for the Event Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Event Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
