Job Description:

The Analyst will support the full scope of responsibilities of the Investment Oversight Solutions (IOS) team across all BXMA businesses. The IOS team is a critical component of BXMA’s investment process and works closely with Portfolio Management, Investment Strategy, Investment Operations, Institutional Client Service, Legal, and Compliance teams.

This role offers significant exposure to a broad range of hedge fund investment strategies and direct investments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Partnering with investment professionals to ensure investments align with performance objectives, investment guidelines, and applicable regulations

Creating, maintaining, and amending guideline tests within BXMA’s proprietary systems

Testing investment guidelines and reporting results internally and externally

Coordinating investor communications with the Institutional Client Service team regarding guideline‑related matters and portfolio inquiries

Negotiating and drafting investment guidelines in collaboration with Legal, Portfolio Management, and Institutional Client Service teams

Partnering with Blackstone Technology & Innovations to enhance BXMA’s guideline monitoring and oversight capabilities

Liaising with service providers and sub‑advisors

Managing projects and initiatives across the IOS function

Maintaining and validating data within internal systems

Analyzing investment‑related and operational information

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks individuals who thrive in a team‑oriented environment, demonstrate strong judgment, and have a track record of excellence. The successful candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of relevant industry experience

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

A self‑starter mentality that thrives in a dynamic environment

Capable of analyzing and working with large datasets, including performance and investment data

Capable of independently managing ad hoc projects through completion

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

The following qualifications are not required, but are a plus:

Understanding of hedge fund structures, liquidity terms, and investment business terms

Prior experience in compliance, audit, or hedge fund operations

Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools

A strong interest in global financial markets and hedge funds

Expected annual base salary range:

$110,000 - $125,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
