The Buying Coordinator is a hybrid position based in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

Foot Locker, Inc. is looking to hire four Buying Coordinators to support our different banners (Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs). These are new positions created to support the department! Our Buying Coordinator role requires a proactive and collaborative person who is responsible for supporting our Buying teams while collaborating with various departments. You will be exposed to communication with the vendor community as well as product assortment and categorization. As you progress in this role, you will have opportunities to provide trend analysis as well.

Responsibilities SKU maintenance, PO maintenance, and buy plan coordinationPartner with digital team to ensure styles are prepped for digital placementOrganizing samples and coordinating on photo shoots as well as shipment between locations when necessaryOrganizing samples and mock store set up within the corporate officeCommunication liaison between various departmentsMarketing liaison; bridge between buying and marketing teamsParticipate in vendor meetings and contribute to overall brand directionCompetition research (ie: who else has what, who has what on sale)Provide trend insights and analysis across the footwear and fashion industryAdditional Buyer support as required Qualifications Degrees in Apparel, Merchandising, Design, Fashion Retail Management, Marketing, Finance/Economics, or other related business degrees preferred and/or relevant work experience  Experience within the retail fashion industryPassionate about sneaker culture and/or the retail industryBasic understanding of retail mathProficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPointIntermediate Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts & graphsStrong analytical ability and attention to detail are necessaryExcellent problem-solving skills; able to take initiative in finding solutions to new issuesSelf-started with organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentInnovative thinkingCritical thinkingAbility to communicate ideas

 

Benefits

The hourly range is $27.40 - $29.81 / hour. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
