The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing procurement activities and production planning to ensure timely availability of materials and products. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet production and inventory requirements.Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchase orders to prevent shortages or excess stock.Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.Create and maintain accurate purchase orders and production schedules in ERP systems.Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to align procurement with business goals.Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to optimize planning and reduce costs.Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain roles.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions under tight deadlines.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
