Buyer/Planner - Onsite in Farmington, CT A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Buyer/Planner to support procurement and planning activities for production operations. This role involves managing purchasing processes, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of components to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain purchase orders and monitor delivery schedulesCommunicate with suppliers to resolve delays or shortagesAssist with invoice discrepancies and act as liaison between internal teams and vendorsTrack inventory levels and recommend actions to meet department objectivesSupport special projects related to procurement and planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred3+ years of experience in purchasing or planning within a manufacturing environment
