We are looking for a proactive and analytical Buyer Planner to join our supply chain team. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and components while also planning production schedules to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain purchasing and production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times.Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align supply with demand.Analyze inventory trends and adjust planning parameters to optimize stock levels.Maintain accurate records of procurement and planning activities in ERP systems.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.Support new product introductions by coordinating material availability and production readiness.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.2+ years of experience in a buyer, planner, or similar supply chain role.Strong Excel Skills- must be able to use Pivot Tables and V look Ups Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with logistics, planning, inventory, reporting, customer service, data entry, vendor management, purchase orders, and forecasting.Oracle experience is a huge plus.Work Environment
Hybrid- 2 days onsite and 3 days work from home after training
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
