**Job Title:** Buyer IV **Location:** Calgary or Edmonton, AB Our client is seeking a Buyer IV to join their team. As a Buyer IV, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting procurement and sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Description:** + Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project and operational sourcing strategies for complex procurement needs. + Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing development, proposal solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution processes. + Forecast required contracts and purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement to meet operational and project schedules. + Support the creation and management of the Supply Chain plan, including workload estimation and RFx requirements. + Ensure compliance with SCM and enterprise governance standards while managing supplier relationships and performance. **Qualifications:** + University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. + Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management or procurement. + Proven skills in communication, negotiation, and influencing internal and external stakeholders. + Experience purchasing complex materials, including pipe and coatings for liquids and gas transmission lines. + Deep understanding of RFx development, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment supporting impactful projects. + Engagement with a diverse team committed to innovation and excellence. + Potential for professional growth and development within a global organization. + Competitive work environment with a focus on integrity and sustainability. + Contribute to meaningful projects that shape infrastructure and energy solutions.
