Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone! **Role Summary:** This position will be involved in the procurement and supply chain activities of pump and accessories for the industrial pumps and packages and report to the Purchasing Supervisor. **Responsibilities:** + Managing Purchase requisitions + Managing Purchase Orders and ability to read drawings and customer specifications. + Expediting and managing open purchase orders + Responsible for purchase of machined and bought out parts, controlling material inflow. + Sharing weekly reports + Knowledge in material grades and its compositions, ability to read and understand Quality documents + Understands customer requirements and selecting appropriate suppliers, obtaining quotes, involving in negotiations and ensure timely availability of required components. + Work with Customer Order Management and Planning to quote costs and deliveries for existing and new purchased components relevant for the site. + Work with suppliers, Internal customer, and cross functional team to fetch parts as per MRP system and requisitions. + Management of MRP datas in ERP system. Work experience in Oracle is preferred. + Manage deliveries of material as required on a timely basis to have smooth run of production + To receive all quality documents along with parts to get clear from internal quality team + Track and report key functional metrics to reduce related expenses and improve effectiveness. + Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs + Interface with Supply Chain organization (local and global) to resolve issues concerning order placement for assigned commodities. + Support entire procurement team to implement Supply Strategies and standard work-processes. + Intervene with suppliers on applicable quality and performance issues (e.g. QC/QA) or as identified via Supplier Performance Group. + Resolve all issues relating to invoice discrepancies from suppliers for seamless payment processing + Manage and maintain all system data as required. + Coordinate with the Global Sourcing team for spot buy values greater than $100k and for general sourcing support as needed + Support any supply chain initiatives roll-out across the site/ platform or any ad-hoc request as directed by line manager. + At all times comply with Flowserve Safety, Integrity and Ethics procedures/ policies **Preferred Skills:** + Effective Communication skills + BE in Mechanical Engineering and 2-3 Yr of Experience + Fluent verbal and communication skills in English; with preference to one or more additional languages. + Reliable negotiation skills + Basic data analysis skills + Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers + Proven working experience with SAP / Oracle + Experience in collecting and analyzing data + IT proficient (Microsoft Office) + Results oriented + Strong work ethic and responsiveness + Problem solver with Enterprise mindset Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
