We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer with at least3 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services to support production schedules and company objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of manufacturing supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:Source and procure raw materials, components, and services in alignment with production needs and inventory targets.Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials to optimize purchasing decisions.Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure purchased items meet specifications.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements in ERP systems.Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice variances.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).Minimum of3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing setting.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, and contract management.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
