Job Title: Purchasing Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist responsible for acquiring materials according to technical specifications, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring alignment with company standards and customer requirements.

ResponsibilitiesPurchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.Negotiate with main suppliers and periodically renew price lists, terms, and conditions.Initiate purchase orders according to purchase requisitions and standard procedures.Oversee supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and lead time, and resolve performance issues.Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with supplier quality and engineering specialists.Ensure supplier orders align with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.Essential SkillsProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of drawings, standard procurement/purchasing procedures, and related company policies.Excellent communication skills for interfacing with various groups in the procurement process.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or 2 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Work Environment

The role is based in the office, requiring attendance 5 days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
