Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services that meet the company’s operational requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, supplier relationship management, and a keen understanding of market trends to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Key Responsibilities:Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to understand procurement needs.Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new products.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.Work Environmentthis will be a fully onsite position in Milwaukee, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
