Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to support our growing communications system business within the technology systems market. This position is located in Coppell, TX.
ResponsibilitiesProcess purchasing requests into purchase orders, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal customers from order placement to receipt to ensure vendor quality and schedules are met.Expedite orders where necessary and update ERP system to reflect order status.Locate new sources of supply and maintain good working relationships with vendors and manufacturers.Review and set up new suppliers.Work closely with the project team based in North America and coordinate with production and suppliers to achieve timely delivery.Perform other duties as assigned by manager.Essential SkillsProficiency in SAP MM module.Strong Microsoft Office software skills.Experience in purchasing and procurement-related areas.Good knowledge of technical topics in material groups, especially within manufacturing and integration.Familiarity with master data principles.Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.Detail-oriented, organized, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective oral and written communication skills for customer/vendor relations.Ability to achieve work results with minimal supervision.US citizenship.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred in Supply Chain/Procurement, Materials Management, Engineering or Business.Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a procurement-related area in lieu of a degree.Experience with purchasing multiple commodities and tasks in a fast-paced work environment.Work Environment
This position requires working onsite in Coppell, TX 100% of the time.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
