Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone! **Role summary:** As a Buyer you will be responsible for procurement of parts for our valve plant located in Bangalore against Castings, Buy Outs and Fabrication commodities to ensure On Time Performance for all the assigned suppliers **Responsibilities** :- + Ensuring release of PO's to respective suppliers against PR's per LT guidelines + Followup and get the OA's + Align the supplier promise dates between Planning and suppliers + Update ERP system on supplier promise dates against respective lines + Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders. + Ensure On Time Delivery per KPI targets + Coordination with logistics for pick up of ready parts + Ensure smooth inwarding of goods + Resolve and Invoice related issues + Monitor and Improve supplier's performance + Proactively identify and resolve any issues with the importing processes of goods to the local service center as well as coordination and problem solving for fulfilling contractual deliveries. + Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site.And any other duties as assigned + Lead and manage complete cycle of PR to Pay process + Manage supplier's performance + Maintain systems per ISO & EMS requirements + Collaboration with relevant functions **Requirement:** + BE in Mechanical Engineering with 8 - 12 years of Experience + Strong knowledge on Castings, Buy outs and Fab commodities **Preferred Skills:** + Proficiency in Supply Chain Management + Fluency in English + Good understanding of all the main purchasing areas: Order management, Development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc. + Knowledge of the requirements of our markets + Strong knowledge on ERP systems + Ability to Influence, communicate and collaborate at all Organization levels Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
