Summary:

Location: 1 Monarch Place; Springfield MA – Commutable Remote (MA & CT)-Hybrid

Schedule: Monday-Friday; Dayshift with flexibility for system updates as needed.

Purpose
The Business Transformation Program Specialist at Health New England (HNE) is responsible for supporting business transformation initiatives within the care management platform system, with Module business owners and system users.  This position will support the Business Transformation Program & Systems Lead, with operational initiatives related to the care management platform system including defect remediation, workflow enhancements, and other operational efficiencies as assigned. The Business Transformation Specialist will interact with cross-functional care management platform system users, assist the Business Transformation Program & Systems Lead with evaluating, development, testing and implementing business transformation programs. 

Accountabilities 
•    Business Transformation:
o    Responsible for routine configuration changes in care management platform system.
o    Annual letter review with care management platform system business owners to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.  Oversee the OSDS review process.  
o    Collaborate with assigned cross-functional teams in the identification, documentation of new enhancements, workflow modifications within   care management platform system.
o    Attend   care management platform system sponsored User Group and Best Practice Meetings.
o    Support the “Lead” with review of care management platform system   upgrade requirements, support requirement gathering, testing and training.
•    Business Maintenance:
o    Maintain care management platform system  user access; add and train new users, review and revise user roles and access 
o    Interface with the care management platform system Program Manager, attend weekly production support calls.
o    Participate in monthly care management platform system  Production Code Push, support regression and defect testing in the Production environment
o    Work with care management platform system  business owners to create reports in Knowage® or with HNE’s IT team to create reports in PowerBI®
•    Business Owner Support:
o    New user care management platform system overview training.
o    Medical Director care management platform system training, process support.
o    Development of Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) reporting with UM/BH managers, at least annually.
o    Annual Reporting:  State, Federal, Medicare, Medicaid, Employer Group, as needed
o    Participation in special projects as needed

Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Information Systems or related field and 3 years’ experience with process management, or systems management a healthcare related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with MicroSoft Word, Excel, Visio, required Care management platform system, preferably MHK CareProminence®, required Application configuration experience preferred Quickly develops in-depth business knowledge and translates workflows into products and systems Effective at managing competing priorities and can work independently with oversight. Process improvement experience Excellent organizational abilities; Self-directed, self-motivated and detail oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, able to relate to all levels of professionals
