For more information, please visit www.brightstarlottery.com. **Role overview:** As a Product Owner in the Lottery Product Management Team, you will be a part of a forward thinking, collaborative and innovative team that is shaping the future of the lottery industry. You will be the key liaison between customers, end users and the development team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the product fulfils user needs while aligning with the overarching product strategy. This role requires you to gain in-depth knowledge of Brightstar's draw game management portfolio, which consists of the transaction processing engine combined with a comprehensive set of features to manage all aspects of a Lottery’s draw game portfolio. Additionally, it will require gaining knowledge of other products to understand cross-product dependencies and integrations. You'll be instrumental in product delivery, taking charge of customer business needs analyses, managing product requirements, documenting features, and developing user stories. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure the final product meets customer needs and aligns with Brightstar’s business objectives. We are looking for someone with technical acumen, passionate about driving innovation and excellence in product development. **Main Responsabilities:** As part of your everyday responsibilities in new product development, you will:  + **Collaborate with Stakeholders** : Work with stakeholders and product managers to align the product roadmap to strategic goals, act as an ambassador for the product serving as the primary technical contact for internal (and external) queries related to the product, and collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure requirements clarity. + **Manage Product Requirements** : Develop feature descriptions for the product backlog, prioritize based on stakeholder feedback, assess market trends and feature value to focus on high-value work aligned with product strategy and develop appropriately detailed user stories to ensure they are understood by the technical team. + **Coordinate Across Product Lifecycle** : Work closely with product engineering leaders to support day-to-day engineering efforts and ensure seamless product implementation utilizing both waterfall and Agile methodologies, assist Quality Assurance team with testing direction in accordance with acceptance criteria and product vision. Coordinate with stakeholders to address any challenges or changes needed during delivery, monitor sprint plans to manage dependencies between teams during sprints and ensure timely delivery. + **Develop Artifacts** : Create business and functional product documentation, user guides, and customer-facing release toolkits. + **Enhance Customer Support** : Provide continuous guidance and assistance to customers, fostering product engagement and maximizing its usage. + **Understand and Shape Product Vision** : Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand and influence the vision for the Draw Game Management products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. **Qualifications:** + **Experience** : Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role(business systems analysis, product ownership, or a related field). This experience is crucial for understanding user needs, transforming them into product features, and effectively managing product development processes as well as 2+ years working in a formalized software delivery team. + **Technical Expertise** : A degree in computer science, software engineering or a minimum of 4 years of related work experience is required. Familiarity with enterprise-grade B2B products is essential, given the digital nature of contemporary solutions. Proficiency with tools like Jira, Polarion-X, or similar is important for managing atomic requirements as well as a product backlog and enabling seamless collaboration with development teams. Experience in mobile and web-based applications is considered a plus. >z + **Transaction Processing Knowledge** : A solid understanding of end-to-end transaction processing systems, such as lottery transaction engines, banking and financial systems or other fintech solutions, is highly beneficial due to the complexity involved in these products. + **Communication Skills** : Strong English-language verbal and written skills are necessary to persuasively present insights and recommendations while engaging confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. + **Management Abilities** : Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, dynamic environment is vital for success in this role. Ability to work from a high-level vision without supervision is essential. + **Interpersonal Skills** : Excellent interpersonal capabilities are needed to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels, fostering strong stakeholder relationships. + **Flexibility** : Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and work across multiple time zones is required, reflecting the role's international scope and engagement with diverse stakeholders. **Responsibilities** The Business Analyst, Senior works as a core member of the team, determining customer requirements and leading the team to provide customer solutions. This position applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of software through requirements management. The BA, Senior leads the team in synthesizing IGT, customer, and market requirements to support the assimilation and evolution of IGT products and services. The BA, Senior provides guidance to the team throughout the project life cycle. + Provide leadership to business, technology and project management team members to ensure seamless integration of business requirements with system functionality throughout the project lifecycle + Demonstrate competence with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirements management and other associated methodologies + Anticipate, elicit, analyze, understand, validate, coordinate, document and manage business and functional requirements associated with formalized project lifecycle + Document use cases. + Lead groups in analyzing, designing and implementing solutions to business requirements + Support the implementation of large scale business systems and processes, and clearly articulate the related technical and data architecture concepts + Document, analyze and interpret complex business policies and processes + Identify and manage issues and risks related to requirements and devise strategies to address in a proactive manner + Manage change control for the full project requirement set after approval, so that change requests are logged, tracked, assessed, and implemented in a controlled and traceable manner. + Conduct independent research and synthesize findings + Supervise BA activities as required + Lead requirements workshops with project stakeholders + Perform gap analyses, analyze results, determine how to address gaps and verify recommendations with technical team members + Manage the business analysis effort related to the definition, documentation, design, development and implementation of large or technically complex systems or enhancements and their associated environments + Oversee creation or create project-specific Business Analysis Plan and update as required + Manage workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on-time + Present information effectively to customers and respond in a timely accurate manner + Manage data via Requirements Management Tool(s) and perform traceability tasks + Assume additional responsibilities as required **Qualifications** Minimum Education: + BS or BA and 5-6 years experience, or Master's and 4+ years experience, or equivalent Additional Education/Training in a business functional area or equivalent.
