As a Business Support Specialist within the Industrial Division, you will play a crucial role in serving as the primary point of contact for industrial customers across various sectors. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments to provide exceptional service, foster relationships, and support growth.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with industrial and OEM customers, ensuring loyalty and long-term satisfaction.Proactively identify opportunities to support customer operations and promote product solutions.Maintain detailed, accurate customer information and activity records in the CRM system.Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.Provide accurate quotes, process orders, and confidently answer product or application questions.Translate technical needs into effective product recommendations, leveraging industrial experience.Monitor and communicate account receivables and payment statuses where applicable.Enter and manage orders accurately using WebERP and internal platforms.Confirm pricing, terms, lead times, and product details to ensure error-free order fulfilment.Collaborate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.Identify and suggest process improvements that enhance order flow and customer satisfaction.Work closely with sales engineers, outside reps, and corporate personnel to deliver seamless service.Coordinate between departments to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.Support territory managers and participate in projects that promote customer engagement and retention.Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented approach in every customer interaction.Communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully across teams and time zones.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales/service environment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently once trained.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience using Microsoft CRM and Power BI for tracking.Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly WebERP or similar.Prior experience supporting field sales or industrial customers.Comfort with collections and A/R follow-up is a plus.Why Work Here?Join an industry leader in spray technology and fluid handling solutions with over 80 years of excellence. Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site at the office in Bessemer, AL, with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional travel to corporate offices in Chicago is recommended for further training and development.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
