About the Team

Our Real Estate team takes on the task of finding and managing over 1,600 stores, DCs, and offices. Their scope is pretty big, as we are a multi-national retailer with over 1,600 leased stores, offices, and distribution centers in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Hong Kong.  The team also supports new store growth through market analysis and research with the industry’s best data resources and analytical tools.  In addition to supporting the stores, we work directly with the Real Estate Legal, Facilities, New Store Construction, and Finance teams.

This position is considered to be Fully Onsite, work is to be done onsite at our PetSmart Home Office.

 


About the Job

SUMMARY

The Business Services Print Coordinator is responsible for helping customers with print center production. The position is also responsible for providing high levels of customer service and satisfaction, as well as offering solutions and suggestions on how orders may be improved. They will be responsible for managing the print tool production queue and submitted custom print requests. They will provide any pre-media edits and adjustments to ensure files are ready for print. This position is responsible for completing print jobs from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):

Interpret written instructions on Print Request forms, email correspondence, or online order requests for completion of print jobs.Processing files for print which includes color, size, layout, and design editsPrioritizes print queue and work according to business needActs as a print consultant for internal associates and departments to assist with file set up, print production design and design for manufacturing (DFM).Operate all Print Services equipment to include print production machines, bindery equipment, laminator, shrink wrapper, etc.Responsible for 3D Print ServicesOperate large format printers including finishing which includes cutting, mounting, grommeting, etc.Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding established deadlines.Maintain proper supply of print materials in coordination with Print Center ManagerEnsure the confidentiality of all material processed.Serves as back-up to Print Center ManagerOther duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct reports. Provides general direction to onsite Xerox contractors for print production.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required1 to 3 years’ experience in a print production or design requiredExperience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator requiredExperience with Adobe Photoshop and RIP Software preferredExperience with eCommerce and web-to-print management systems preferredOr equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skillsAble to demonstrate multitasking skills, i.e. able to handle multiple projects at one timeAble to demonstrate time management skills and organizational skillsExperience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) requiredAble to demonstrate use of Adobe InDesign and IllustratorAble to work well in a team environment and independently
