Business Operations Specialist III
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist III to join their team. As a Business Operations Specialist III, you will be part of the Middle Office supporting securities operations and cross-departmental initiatives across multiple functions (including trade services, corporate actions, derivatives, fixed income, and OTS). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to balancing multiple priorities at once, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Business Operations Specialist III **Location:** Baltimore, MD (Hybrid - Required 4 Days Onsite) **Pay Range:** $37/hr - $42/hr W2 **Job Type:** Contract **What's the Job?** + Executes or coordinates accurate and timely setup and maintenance of securities including stocks, bonds, and derivatives for trading activities, ensuring deadlines are met and escalating issues as necessary. + Oversee service providers responsible for securities setup and maintenance not needed for immediate trading + Collaborate closely with trading, compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. + Leads or assists in projects and work streams related to security reference data to improve data accuracy and reduce operational risk. + Validate third-party data imports and provide feedback to improve timeliness and quality of data processes. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 Years of relevant Middle Office experience within the financial services industry, preferably across multiple Middle Office functions. + Advanced Excel skills with and ability to write and run basic SQL queries. Experience with Power BI and CoPilot (AI) is nice to have! + Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms is a plus.
