Business Operations Manager
**About the Role** Incentives at Uber are a **critical dynamic lever** constantly evolving to solve some of the **most challenging marketplace problems**. By strategically balancing **rider demand and driver supply** across one of our largest global markets, incentives serve as **high-impact, measurable financial interventions** that are essential for platform efficiency experience and sustainable growth. As an Operations Manager, you will **own the end-to-end strategic development and execution** of the **rider incentives strategy** in Brazil. This role is vital for running **high-stakes investments**, rigorously supervising business performance, and driving continuous improvement through deep-dive analysis. It requires strong **business acumen, analytical thinking, and compelling interpersonal skills** to ensure the marketplace remains competitive, efficient, and aligned with company-wide strategic objectives. **What You'll Do** - **Investment Management:** Strategically manage incentive budget allocation, working with high-volume datasets to ensure **optimal financial efficiency** across all tools. - **Strategic Planning & Monitoring:** Continuously monitor competition, marketplace health metrics, and **P&L targets** to proactively develop and implement data-driven action plans to reach our goals. - **Performance Monitoring & Improvement:** Establish clear performance metrics, **continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness** of all launched incentive programs, and identify and execute opportunities for **improvement**. - **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Coordinate complex projects and initiatives to improve incentive tooling and streamline operational processes. - **Stakeholder Communication:** Build and maintain effective relationships with local and regional stakeholders, assertively communicating and presenting **complex findings, insights, and recommendations** to drive decisive business action. **What You'll Need** - You must be a **self-starter** with a high degree of ownership and bias for action. - Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in high-impact roles within **Operations, Strategy or Business Consulting.** - **Advanced SQL proficiency** and exceptional Excel/data management skills are required. - **Analytical Mindset:** Demonstrated ability to be a **data-driven decision-maker and an "explorer,"** using data to solve ambiguous problems and effectively translating quantitative findings into clear, executable action plans. - **Problem-Solving:** Proven ability to think strategically, **thrive amid ambiguity**, and solve complex problems in a dynamic, fast-paced multicultural environment. - **Communication:** Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders. - **Language:** Written and spoken fluency in **English** is mandatory. **Preferred Qualifications** - Python proficiency Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
