**What you'll be doing**
As a member of CIBC’s team, the experienced Business Management Lead, acts as an independent leader within the US Change Administration team, supporting the US Change Initiatives and Corporate Affairs department. This role collaborates closely with department leadership to drive process improvement initiatives, provide leadership on various engagements, and prepare executive-level presentations. Leveraging a comprehensive understanding of organizational policies and business objectives, the Lead provides strategic support through detailed analysis, effective meeting coordination, and the creation of high-quality deliverables. The position requires independent judgment to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring all solutions are efficient, compliant, and aligned with policy standards. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, facilitating key meetings, and delivering exceptional support to internal partners through strong communication and a commitment to excellence.

**How you'll succeed**
+ **Understanding and Documenting Requirements** - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
+ **Strategic Support & Leadership -** Partner with the Head of US Change Administration on diverse initiatives, including process improvements, detailed analysis, executive presentations, and meeting coordination. Operate independently, demonstrating high-quality, detail-oriented work in all efforts.
+ **Enterprise Knowledge** - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s inner workings, including policies, processes, and procedures as well as department business goals. Leverage this expertise to support US Change Initiatives and Corporate Affairs leadership in achieving business goals.
+ **Meeting Preparation & Organization** - Support the planning and execution of key meetings by organizing agendas and preparing materials that drive effective communication and decision-making.
+ **Process Improvement & Solution Design** - Identify opportunities to enhance business processes. Develop and recommend solutions that are efficient, effective, and fully aligned with organizational standards and requirements.
+ **Relationship Management & Communication** - Drive high internal partner satisfaction by practicing servant leadership and effective communication. Build collaborative relationships across teams and provide outstanding assistance to internal stakeholders.
**Who you are**
+ **You have a degree/diploma in** Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and you’ve spent at least 3 years in a similar role, supporting management in delivering on business goals.
+ **You have a college degree** and a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the financial services industry, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
+ **You are an effective leader** with strong people management and development skills. You inspire others, promote teamwork, and create a positive, focused work environment.
+ **You are skilled at influencing key stakeholders** by articulating strategies and communicating value-driven solutions. Your interpersonal and communication skills allow you to present complex information in a clear, structured way to senior management and cross-functional teams.

_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ **$110,000 - $125,000K** _for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
