By using data warehousing, visualization, and analysis, this role supports our clients in improving their operations across various service areas such as facilities management, project management, finance, portfolio administration, cost forecasting, and more. A senior analyst works closely with our clients and database technical team to automate data collection from source operational systems, aggregate and standardize the information in a data warehouse, and develop Tableau dashboards that demonstrate the warehouse to generate important client insights. Additionally, the CBRE GWS Insights group helps our clients develop budgets, benchmark facility operating costs, and predict upcoming capital requirements. A senior analyst leads projects to collect the requisite client real estate data, build and refine cost models using CBRE tools, and present a significant financial story in formal reports and briefings. Ideal candidate proficient in Tableau, data modeling, project management, client communication, and real estate, shown ability. This position requires a minimum of 2 days in Office with the remainder remote. What You'll Do: + Performing both technical lead and project coordinator duties for business intelligence projects for various corporate and government clients. + To steer clear of scope creep, the senior business analyst should uphold clear communication with the project's collaborators and ensure meticulous documentation of the project's requirements. + Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; leading project scope; adjusting schedules when vital; resolving daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and achievements; following proper critical issue paths; and handling customer and supplier relationships + Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, supervising breakthrough completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts + Create, maintain and optimize creative data visualizations and dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to derive actionable intelligence. + Provide domain expertise on data-related processes and analyses. + Elicit and clearly document business and data requirements to ensure inclusion in the final solution. + Present progress and results to clients (both in-person and virtually) and collects feedback for revisions. + Prepare formal presentations and/or written reports describing project methodology, scope, key assumptions, and results. + Collaborate with CBRE’s Digital and Technology team to implement automated technical solution for business intelligence projects. + Miscellaneous technical support for marketing materials, and data support for CBRE software systems. + Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple participants What You'll Need: + Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Minimum 5+ years of related experience. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to optimally present information. + Excellent data management, manipulation, and analysis skills. Ability to create integrated data models from disparate sources. Understanding of relational databases. Highly skilled in dashboard design and development. Sophisticated Tableau skills are required. Proficiency in database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. + Requires basic knowledge of financial and statistical terms and principles. + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret sophisticated data sets. Ability to tackle problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Excel.
