Key job responsibilities
A. Data Analysis & Insights
Uncover insights by analyzing massive datasets, identifying patterns that reveal opportunities to optimize fee structures and seller experiences
Track and analyze business-critical metrics that reveal the performance of fee structures and incentive programs across international marketplaces
B. Business Partnership & Influence
Partner with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to define business metrics
Transform complex analytical discoveries into actionable business recommendations that drive measurable results
Develop and deliver compelling data narratives that influence product strategy and decision-making
Lead cross-functional collaborations that turn your analytical insights into tangible improvements
C. Technical Implementation & Innovation
Architect sophisticated data pipelines that extract, transform, and deliver critical insights
Build scalable, automated reporting solutions
Pioneer the application of latest GenAI tools to unlock deeper insights and analytical capabilities
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
