Role Profile

Within Global Occupier Services (GOS), the Global Technology Services (GTS) team delivers innovative technology solutions through a collaborative environment of consultants, developers, project managers, and analysts. Our mission is to build and support client-focused technology platforms that are scalable, secure, and impactful across key service lines.

As a BI Developer, you will contribute to platform development, reporting enhancements, and technical onboarding support. You’ll work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to define reporting strategies, develop models, and troubleshoot issues with efficiency and precision.

Core Responsibilities

Support and troubleshoot existing Power BI models, reports, and automated data processes

Build and enhance semantic models and dashboards for reporting platforms, including embedded Power BI functionality

Collaborate in onboarding new clients—building, testing, and supporting custom reporting tools

Participate in tech projects—conducting requirements analysis, model and report design, and change management

Document implementations and assist in process development using Python, Power Apps, and Power Automate

Requirements

2–3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development

Expertise in Power Query, semantic modeling, and DAX

Ability to write and understand Python and T-SQL scripts

Proven track record in requirements gathering and solution documentation

Familiarity with source control tools like Git and CI/CD practices

Comfortable using DevOps to manage progress and collaboration

Strong communication skills, including technical documentation

Bonus Skills

Experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture and tools

Exposure to Tableau or other BI reporting platforms

Background in Power BI portal embedding

Semantic model optimization and performance tuning

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Mathematics
