Role Profile:

The GOS Global Technology Service group, is a team of dedicated IT consultants, developers, project managers and business analysts that support our client technology solutions through best-in-class software systems utilizing a service delivery model to deliver value within a clear, consistent and measurable framework. Additionally, we provide assessment, technology roadmap, transition and integration services as well as a continuous improvement-based
support model to ensure an ongoing technology investment for the duration of our client relationships. In support of Global Occupier Services, our team also provides business development support including solution definition, pricing, technology demonstration and delivery for Strategy and Portfolio Administration Services, Transaction & Project Management Transaction, Facilities Management, Space & Occupancy, and Financial Management.

Core Responsibilities:

We are looking for a BI Developer to help expand, improve and maintain a global BI platform, built primarily on the Microsoft stack in Azure. You will grow your data analysis and Power BI development skills by working alongside senior members within the team. You will be required to create, maintain and enhance our reporting platform as part of a structured software development lifecycle. In this role, there will be extensive development with Power BI, with some element of Microsoft Fabric and Python coding. There will also be BAU activities, requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

1. BAU BI platform support – troubleshoot and bug fixes within existing Power BI data models/reports, security and governance management, and existing automation processes. This requires knowledge and experience with writing TSQL scripts, end-to-end Power BI development and Python programming language.


2. Reporting platform support and development – build and enhance Power BI semantic models and reports as part of planned platform development projects and activities. There is also an element of enhancing and supporting the Power BI embedded within a web portal.


3. Transition Management – support the technology components of new client onboarding to include items such as supporting custom Power BI report developers with building, testing, and troubleshooting.


4. Client Project Services – carry out technology project related activities to include such items as requirements gathering, business rule specification, semantic model, and report design, change management routines in Power BI.


5. Collateral development – in supporting the BI solutions the role includes activities such as documenting the new implementations and changes in the reports to be able to compile for multiple IT and Business standards.
This also includes development of new processes to support the development team, using technologies such as Python, Power Apps and Power Automate.


Key Performance Indicators:


• BAU support and troubleshooting existing reports and data models.
• Development of robust and scalable BI solutions in conjunctions with senior members of the team.
