As a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Career Products Business Intelligence team, you and your team will provide global sales, customer, and product reporting and analysis for product management and geography leadership. This role is based in Cluj, Romania.
We will count on you to:
Standardized Reporting: Ensure execution and effective delivery of standardized reports, maintaining content and distributions as needed. Escalate issues as needed.Ad-hoc Reporting: Monitor team’s mailbox for data requests, manage assignment to appropriate resources, and execute on own as appropriate. Leverage existing ready-to-use reports where possible, use copies of other similar reporting assets when able, or create entirely new reports when necessary. Add ad-hoc requests to standized report portfolio as appropriate.Peer Review: Review self and others’ work as directed by team leader. Review standardized assets based on scheduled frequency.Data Management: Perform routine data and quality control activities.Communication: Communicate with people from various global teams to precisely assess and understand scope of work.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, data mining, econometrics or related field.Understanding relational database concepts and relationships and be able to apply them in reporting.1-3 years’ experience with data and willingness to acquire knowledge of company databases.Experience with a statistical analysis software package.Strong analytical and quantitative skills and demonstrated problem solving capabilities.Interest in explaining report results and investigating reasons that influenced results.Extraordinary attention to details.A good understanding of ETL principlesAbility to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques.Experience in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong general computer literacy.Very good command of written and spoken English.Strong listening and communications skills – highly collaborative work style, yet must be able to work effectively independently.What makes you stand out:
Proficiency in many/most of our technical tools as Cognos/equivalent, Power BI, SQL, VBA.Experience in sales and revenue reporting and analysis, and ability to interpret results and anticipate follow-on analyses.Ability to understand complex and multi-faceted rules regarding product-based analyses.Demonstrate curiosity and initiative by identifying and proposing new analyses to uncover client and market trends that influence sales and client retention, effectively operating within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment across diverse regions.
