Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant
In this role, you will:
Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectivesIdentify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metricsDetermine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of workReview and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectationsUtilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverablesPresent recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the businessExercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of businessCollaborate and consult with leaders and executive managementProvide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Payment Operations, Production Support or Information Technology or equivalent knowledge of payments and payment technologyExperience in being part of a 24 x 7 functions or organizations highly preferredExperience in banking operations or any of the following: payments/settlements/fund transfers, Trade & Securities, Custody related to banking productsKnowledge on Message types of SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS and Telex an advantageGood in both verbal and written communication skillsGood investigation and problem-solving skillsOrganizational and detail-oriented skillsAbility to handle high volume and short SLA or turnaround timeAbility to work in changing and fast paced work environmentAbility to manage and prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions, able to multitaskAble to perform shift work (incl. Night Shifts) and ready for deployment in a 24x7x365 day environment

Job Expectations:
Support Payments Command Center manager to run and execute daily activities for the Payments Command Center and actively work on continuous improvement that is grounded by solid change management practices to mitigate riskProvide support in a 24x7 model for the most complex and broad technological business solutions which have direct and significant impact on Wells Fargo’s strategic payments objectives.Maintain active communication through all layers and business lines of the organization to match the criticality of the issue.Daily monitoring of tasks, Links, Application queues, File transmission and any other critical business event. Timely reporting and escalating any BAU outages. Ensuring first response is sent out to requisite technology/business unit.Establish and maintain working partnerships with partners that the Payments Command Center supports and must work seamlessly alongside in daily execution of duties.Hands on with requisite data extraction and managing ad hoc request during BAU.Should be well versed with Payment/Trade life cycle and be able to provide insights and analysis into current and forecasted payment activities with a view of where the customers’ payment
