We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Development Representative to help us expand our public works client base. The ideal candidate will excel at reading and comprehending RFQs, RFPs, and bid documents, ensuring requirements are fully understood and addressed. This role requires exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • RFQ/RFP Analysis & Preparation: - Read and fully understand RFQs, RFPs, and related bid documents. - Identify key requirements, submission deadlines, and evaluation criteria. - Collaborate with estimating and proposal teams to prepare compliant, competitive submissions. • Opportunity Development: - Research and track upcoming public works projects and procurement opportunities. - Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects using CRM tools. • Professional Communication: - Draft and edit correspondence, proposals, and marketing materials using proper grammar, formatting, and tone. - Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams. • Organizational Excellence: - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. - Keep meticulous records of opportunities, submissions, and follow-ups. • Relationship Building: - Network with municipalities, school districts, and other public agencies

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in business development, proposal coordination, or sales (construction/public works preferred). • Strong ability to read, interpret, and comprehend RFQs and RFPs. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce professional, polished documents. • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to client meetings and events as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
