Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Latin America Territory.   This position is based in Los Angeles CA.
Salary - $120,000 plus bonus and commissions.

Job Description
Based on-site in La Verne office, you’ll develop and grow business across Latin America, focusing on Mexico, Brazil, and key South American markets. You’ll identify regional opportunities in industrial, automotive, data center, and electronics sectors, establish distributor and OEM partnerships, and drive design-ins from concept to production.
Day-to-day, you’ll build new accounts, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and coordinate with our Asia R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored thermal solutions that meet local market needs. You own the territory plan, the pipeline, and the close.
Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is required; and Mandarin is a plus.
Responsibilities Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across Mexico and South America (industrial, automotive, and electronics sectors). Identify and engage local distributors, VARs, ODMs/OEMs, and system integrators. Build long-term relationships through regular visits, trade shows, and regional industry events. Translate customer requirements into proposals, quotes, and sample/validation plans; manage RFIs/RFQs and agreements (NDAs/MSAs). Coordinate daily with R&D and manufacturing in Asia on builds, schedules, and escalations. Drive design-ins from concept to mass production, supporting EVT/DVT/PVT and pilot builds. Maintain accurate CRM records; deliver forecasts, account updates, and territory reports on time. Monitor regional market trends, competitive activity, and technology shifts (air, iquid/hybrid cooling). Collaborate with marketing to tailor campaigns and materials for Latin American customers. Provide first-line technical/commercial support; route complex issues to engineering and FAE teams. Contribute to pricing strategy, cost-down planning, and regional product roadmap discussions. Experience 5+ years in technical sales or business development in Latin America, ideally within thermal solutions, components, electronics, or industrial equipment. Proven success developing accounts in Mexico and/or South America through OEM, ODM, or distributor networks. Hands-on experience with full sales cycles: prospecting, qualification proposal validation, production. Familiarity with manufacturing collaboration across time zones (Asia preferred). Excellent pipeline discipline and CRM usage; strong forecasting and reporting habits. Strong technical aptitude; able to explain thermal products and system-level cooling solutions in simple terms. Bachelor’s in Business, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Fluent in Spanish and English; and Mandarin is a plus. Willingness to travel throughout Latin America (~30–40%). Preferred Experience Experience selling fans, heat sinks, cooling modules, or power/thermal components into industrial, data center, or automotive applications. Existing relationships with major Mexican or South American OEMs/distributors (e.g., automotive Tier 1s, electronics integrators, industrial automation firms). Knowledge of local import/export, distribution, and supplier onboarding processes. Track record of measurable revenue growth and new market penetration. Familiarity with regional trade compliance, currency handling, and cross-border logistics. Comfortable collaborating with multicultural teams across North America, Asia, and Latin America.
