Job Summary:
You will be responsible for developing new and deepening existing client relationships in designated markets, positioning Diversified as the preferred AV/ICT solutions integrator and manage the end-to-end sale process. You will formulate, client target strategies, the preparation of competitive & comprehensive quotations, formal bid presentations, and direct client interaction delivering solution sales to technical buyers.
You will be working closely with the estimating team and other sales staff as well as Engineering, Projects, Service, SCM and Finance colleagues to ensure any proposed opportunity complies with company standards, and to ensure the client receives a high-quality solution.
Roles & responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, consultants, builders, and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities for Diversified, ultimately driving sales of audio visual, VC, IT and Service Support related solutions. Identify and qualify potential customers in the right market verticals and develop a business development plan to reach them. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting and actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the line managers. Possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities for Diversified are captured and explored. You will have individual responsibility for new business and are expected to be autonomous. You will work in close collaboration with the management team for complex large pitches, and strategies. You will have a New sales conversion revenue target set by the APAC MD, and a commission structure that activates upon delivery of an agreed minimum gross profit on any particular sold project. You will effectively interact with other departments including the Operations team when handing over projects ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale. Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation, following Diversified’s procedure. Keep abreast of technological advances in AV, VC and IT fields. Other responsibilities/duties as required which may vary from time to time based on business requirements. Graduate degree in any discipline Qualifications in ICT/AV Engineering and/or Business discipline are a distinct advantage. AV programming certifications, affiliation to AVIXA and other Pro AV guilds/bodies are a positive to possess.Skills & Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B solution selling in the AV domain - mandatory Ability to communicate at all levels including C level executive engagement Knowledge of integrated ICT and Audio-Visual Systems is essential. Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills, both in English and the major Indian languages.
