\n\t\t\t\t\tAbout the Role\nThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for our third-party warehousing and logistics services. This role focuses on developing strategic relationships with shippers, manufacturers, retailers, and other supply chain partners who require customized warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nIdentify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within target markets and industries.\nDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth objectives.\nBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.\nConduct discovery calls to understand customer supply chain needs, warehousing requirements, volume profiles, and service expectations.\nCollaborate with operations, solutions engineering, and finance teams to design and price customized warehousing and distribution solutions.\nPrepare and present proposals, presentations, and RFP/RFI responses.\nNegotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to close new business.\nMaintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at prospective and existing customers.\nTrack sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.\nStay current on market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings within the 3PL and warehousing space.\nRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as needed.
