Business Development Manager
Job Description As a Business Development Manager, the primary focus will be to expand the client’s network of key accounts across the United States. This role plays a critical part in the optimization and continued growth of the client’s J-1 Visa programs. Selected candidates will educate host employers on J-1 Visa regulations while opening career development placements for international interns and trainees. Daily responsibilities include: Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using CRM software. • Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, social media, and industry outreach. • Establish relationships with key decision-makers at new host employers and identify upsell opportunities. • Schedule and conduct meetings (including face-to-face) to assess client needs and present tailored solutions. • Organize and lead speaking engagements at local and national events. • Research industry trends and identify new opportunities to expand business. • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive networking and partnership development. • Monitor market and industry trends to remain competitive. • Maintain a strong understanding of company services, market position, and competitors. • Negotiate and close business deals that drive sustained revenue, collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership teams. • Secure J-1 training agreements with new host employers in full compliance with all visa regulations. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a comparable sales-focused role. • Experience selling services rather than products. • Proven success with telephone and video-based sales. • Strong relationship-building and rapport development skills. • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. • Hospitality experience (hotels, restaurants, country clubs) strongly preferred. • Experience working with hospitality employers such as hotels, restaurants, resorts, or country clubs. • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage client accounts, and drive revenue growth.
