Beacon Hill is seeking a Legal Business Development Manager for a hybrid role in Dallas, Austin, or Houston with our client. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Intelligence

Research Texas-based law firms, corporate legal departments, and legal leadersIdentify market trends driving demand for legal staffing and managed legal solutions, including:Litigation surges (class actions, investigations, antitrust, mass torts)Corporate activity (M&A, contract backlogs, compliance initiatives)Regulatory changes, enforcement actions, and technology adoptionTrack industry developments impacting staffing needs (eDiscovery, CLM, AI adoption, cost pressure)

Business Development & Outreach

Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to legal decision-makersBuild relationships with:General Counsel & Deputy GCLegal Operations leadersLaw firm partners and practice leadersConduct introductory calls and meetings to understand client pain pointsPosition tailored legal staffing and managed services solutions

Pipeline & Relationship Management

Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects and opportunitiesCoordinate closely with internal delivery and recruiting teamsSupport proposal development and pricing discussionsAttend and leverage Texas legal events, bar associations, and industry gatherings

Qualifications:

3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience
(legal staffing, ALSP, law firm services, or professional services strongly preferred)Strong understanding of law firm and in-house legal environmentsExperience researching and engaging senior-level legal stakeholdersAbility to translate market trends into actionable sales opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently in a growth-oriented roleProficient with CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and research tools

Preferred Experience:

Legal staffing or alternative legal servicesSelling managed review, contract services, compliance support, or legal operations solutionsExperience in Texas legal markets (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio)Familiarity with legal technology trends (eDiscovery, CLM, AI in legal)
