Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and collaborating with international teams to support global product opportunities.
Responsibilities
+ Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share.
+ Introduce and support strategies to enhance company presence in the market.
+ Liaise and communicate with international teams for global product opportunities.
+ Maintain and expand existing customer bases through effective relationship management.
+ Research and identify growth opportunities in new markets.
+ Identify and manage company risks to prevent hindrance to growth.
+ Complete pre-qualification documentation for new customers.
+ Communicate with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
+ Champion the development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and process.
+ Create and deliver presentations to prospective and current customers.
+ Gather and analyze customer and competitor data for strategic planning.
+ Negotiate contract terms with customers and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
+ Develop rapport with key decision makers within customer organizations.
+ Foster a collaborative environment within the business.
+ Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential customers.
+ Analyze financial data to strategize increased revenue and decreased expenses.
+ Support business efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
+ Collaborate with managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
+ Create and develop sales presentations, literature, and website content.
+ Lead active marketing initiatives on social media platforms to enhance exposure.
+ Prepare and provide relevant sales forecasts for future business planning.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of management/leadership experience in an automotive business development capacity.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
+ Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
+ Basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
+ Intermediate experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in material handling and/or automotive plant equipment design or construction is preferred.
+ Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC (Pro application).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $70.00/hr.
